This is a great core exercise that works your upper and lower abdominals as well as your hip flexors. It will also improve balance and coordination. Start with your hands on the floor and progress to having your hands in the air for a more advanced version.
The Bird Dog works the abs, back, butt/hips and is an excellent exercise to train the body how to stabilize the lumbar spine (low back) during upper and lower extremity movement.
The Squat Walk will build endurance in the lower body and targets the quads, glutes, hamstrings, and the inner and outer thighs. This is a great exercise to finish off your leg workout!
